The illuminated Niagara falls was in full resplendence with the many 4000-watt arc lamps flashing on the constant haze of spray and vapour, causing the falls to shine in every color of the rainbow. The fireworks -from the Queen Victoria Park- was an additional Big Bonus!
The three individual falls from left to right are American Falls (lit in Pink), Bridal Veil Falls (lit in Blue/ Aqua), and the Horseshoe Falls (lit in Green). The largest of the three is Horseshoe Falls with a width of 790 Meters which straddles the international border of the two countries.
The ’Skylon Tower’ with a height of 775 feet on Canada side can be seen on the right.
