Partial LUNAR Eclipse’ from BAHRAIN.
Photographying Partial Eclipse is not a big deal after capturing many Total Lunar eclipses in the past. So for the first time ventured out ‘without’ a Telescope and try my luck from the sea side with just a 300mm F2.8.
When the Moon was rising, the Umbral shadow of the Earth was just uncovering the other half of Moon which was already orange because of the horizon and so oval. The dark shadow portion could be seen faintly in the Photo.
However the best part of the event was the passing of the luxury German liner ‘AIDA’ and it looked as it the Moon was reflecting its light onto the ship to make it very prominent against the not so dark horizon.
The 300mm F2.8 was my companion here.
